Today’s email is going to be a quick one. I have something very important to tell you, and I don’t want it to get lost in a long string of words.
If you want to write, start today. Start now.
If you don’t do it now, then when? There will always be a reason not to do it. There will always be something more urgent.
Hope deferred makes the heart sick, and delaying and delaying until there are perfect conditions will just make you sad and resentful.
But if you start today, then you’ll be a writer for the rest of your life.
Even if you only write a line or two each day, your little heart will be happy and your mind will be satisfied.
Let yourself trust in your hope, in the joy that swirls up at the thought of writing.
Start today. Start now.
